A Sandys man appeared in Magistrates’ Court to deny a charge of stealing from a Reid Street clothing store.

Desmond Trott, 34, denied entering 27th Century Boutique as a trespasser and stealing $100.

The offence allegedly occurred sometime between May 23 and May 25 while the store was closed for the Bermuda Day holiday.

Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe released Mr Trott on $1,000 bail with a like surety, ordering that he return to court on August 5 for trial.
