Man denies stealing scooter and pendant

A Pembroke man has denied separate counts of stealing a scooter and a piece of football memorabilia.

Shayne James, 23, is accused of taking a Honda Spacy on May 26 in Pembroke without the owner’s consent

He is also alleged to have forcefully robbed a Stoke City Football Club pendant, valued at $2,000, from Franklyn Foggo on June 1 in Hamilton Parish. Yesterday morning, Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo released the defendant on $4,000 bail with a like surety, to return for trial on September 30.

In the meantime, he ordered Mr James to have no contact with the complainant.
