Woman denies smuggling drugs

A Pembroke woman has denied trying to import more than $45,000 worth of cannabis and cannabis resin into the island.

Sheneal Harris is accused of trying to smuggle the drugs into Bermuda on May 18 last year.

She also faces a further two charges of possessing cannabis and cannabis resin with intent to supply.

The 25-year-old, from Pembroke, pleaded not guilty to all the charges at Magistrates’ Court yesterday. She was released on bail for trial at Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
