A 34-year-old man has denied sexually assaulting a woman.

The man, from Hamilton Parish, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also denied hitting the 32-year-old woman when he apperaed in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

The incident is alleged to have taken place on May 6 last year in Hamilton Parish.

Magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case until June 10 and released the defendant on $5,000 bail.
