A 34-year-old Warwick man denied a sex offence yesterday in Magistrates’ Court.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, entered a not guilty plea to a charge that, on a date unknown between September 3, 2016, and September 2, 2018, being in a position of trust, he touched the complainant directly or indirectly on the genitals with his hand.
Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe set the matter for mention next month, with a bail of $5,000 and the requirement that the man have “no contact whatsoever with the complainant”.
