Biker caught with cocaine

A 33-year-old man who admitted possession of cocaine and a homemade bong was fined a total of $1,000 on Wednesday. Ronico Richardson pleaded guilty to drugs possession in Magistrates’ Court. Richardson, from St George’s, also pleaded guilty to possession of drug equipment. The court heard that he was stopped by police as he rode his motorcycle on Kindley Field Road, St George’s, last June. Police discovered 3.22 grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of $1,000 in Richardson’s pocket. The bong was later found by police during a search of his home. Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe fined Richardson $650 for the drugs and $350 for possession of the drugs equipment. • It is The Royal Gazette’s policy not to allow comments on stories regarding court cases.
