Man, 20, charged in Parsons Road shooting

A 20-year-old man has appeared in Magistrates' Court charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting last week.

Kyari Flood, from Pembroke, was also accused of use of a firearm to commit an indictable offence.

Mr Flood was granted bail with “strict conditions” on March 27.

A police spokesman said: “He has so far not met his bail conditions and remains at the Westgate Correctional Facility.”

The charges relate to an incident on Parsons Road, Pembroke, at about 11pm last Friday. Police officers who responded to calls found a man shot in the arm.

The injured man was taken to hospital where he underwent surgery and was later discharged.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
