Man denies charge of death by dangerous driving
A man appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday in connection with a motorcycle collision that killed another man.
Ishmael Lightbourne, 40, was charged with causing the death of Shannon-Hugh Davis, 39, by driving with a dangerous drug in his system.
The incident is alleged to have happened on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish on March 1 last year.
Mr Lightbourne, from Pembroke, was not required to enter a plea as the case must be heard in the Supreme Court.
Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe adjourned the case until August 3 and released Mr Lightbourne on $10,000 bail.
