A man was today sent to the Supreme Court to face a charge of an escape of lawful custody.

Antoine Anderson, 44, was alleged in Magistrates’ Court to have left the Co-Educational facility near Ferry Reach, St George’s, on Wednesday.

Mr Anderson was not required to enter a plea as the matter must be heard in front of the Supreme Court.

Senior Magistrate Maxanne Anderson sent the case to the Supreme Court’s September 1 arraignments session and remanded him in custody.

Mr Anderson could face a maximum sentence of two years in prison if convicted.
