A man has been charged in Magistrates’ Court with sexual assault .

The 38-year-old, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, denied the offence when he appeared in court and chose to have his case heard in Magistrates’ Court. The offence was alleged to have occurred on Wednesday.

Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case until May 29 and remanded the man, of no fixed abode, in custody until that time.
