Two motorists fined $1,000 after road collisions

Two motorists involved in separate road collisions were each fined $1,000 in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Loxley Cummings, 20, and Sierra Outerbridge, 36, admitted driving their cars without due care and attention.

The court heard that Cummings, from Pembroke, struck a car on Middle Road, Sandys, on June 11. Both vehicles were badly damaged from the collision.

The court also heard that Outerbridge, from Warwick, hit a car at the junction of Tee Street and Middle Road, Devonshire, on December 26.

Outerbridge also admitted driving while disqualified when the incident occurred.

Magistrate Craig Attridge added points to the drivers’ licences and disqualified Outerbridge from driving all vehicles until September.
