Two men have been charged in Magistrates’ Court with assaulting a lawyer and her client.

Kyle Tannock-Williams, 42, and Oronde Bascome, 36, both from St George’s, denied assaulting Sara Tucker and Raheem Wray when they appeared in court today.

Mr Tannock-Williams also pleaded not guilty to assaulting another woman, Ann-Marie Hewey, and threatening to kill Mr Wray.

The offences are alleged to have taken place outside Sessions House on January 17, while Mr Wray was on trial for the murder of the footballer Osagi Bascome in 2021.

A jury found Mr Wray not guilty.

Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the two men’s case to April 24 and released them on $5,000 bail.
