Two unlicensed riders banned from roads

Two Pembroke residents who admitted several traffic offences were disqualified from driving all vehicles yesterday.

Terrin Lambe, 39, pleaded guilty to speeding at 77km/h, riding an unlicensed cycle without insurance and two counts of having no driver’s licence when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court.

Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson fined him a total of $2,620, added several points to his licence and disqualified him from driving for 16 months.

Jervan Johnson, also 39, pleaded guilty to disobeying a traffic sign and two charges of having no driver’s licence.

Ms Anderson fined Johnson $650, added points to his licence and disqualified him from driving for nine months.
