Man accused of wounding with intent to cause harm
A Smith’s man appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday to face a charge of unlawful wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
Shannon Tucker, 50, was not required to plead to the offence, which was alleged to have been committed in Smith’s on Friday, as he chose to have the case heard in the Supreme Court.
Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson sent the case to the August 3 arraignments and released Mr Tucker on $10,000 bail with a surety until that time.
Conditions of Mr Tucker’s bail include a daily curfew, reporting to Hamilton Police Station twice a week and not contacting the alleged victim or visiting his property.
