A Devonshire man has been charged in Magistrates’ Court with sexually assaulting two girls.

The 52-year-old, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, denied the offences, which were allegedly committed in Devonshire on Friday, and chose to keep the case in the lower court.

Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case to August 10 and remanded the man into custody until that time.
