Pair deny having, aiding unlawful carnal knowledge
A Devonshire man is facing two charges of having unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl under the age of 14.
The 25-year-old, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, denied the offences, as well as a third allegation that he performed a sexual act against the same victim, when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court today.
A 50-year-old Warwick woman also appeared in court today to deny aiding the man in having unlawful carnal knowledge of the same victim.
All offences allegedly occurred between November 2025 and March 2026.
Magistrate Maria Sofianos adjourned the case to August 10, released the pair on $3,000 bail and ordered them not to contact the alleged victim or any prosecution witnesses.
