Impaired driver banned after crash
A driver who crashed into a wall in Warwick has been banned from operating all vehicles for 18 months.
Vladimir Focke, 25, admitted driving a car while impaired by alcohol when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The court heard that Focke crashed into a wall on Spice Hill Road on July 29.
Officers who attended the scene saw that Focke’s eyes were glazed, smelt alcohol on his breath and took him to Hamilton Police Station.
In addition to the ban, Focke, from Warwick, was fined $1,500 for the offence.
