A man denied badly injuring a woman while he was behind the wheel of a vehicle.

Sidonio Festa, 52, pleaded not guilty in Magistrates’ Court to causing grievous bodily harm to D’Ajanae Richards by driving without due care and attention.

The incident was alleged to have happened on December 11 last year.

Magistrate Tyrone Chin released Mr Sidonio, from Sandys, on $2,000 bail and adjourned the matter until October 12.
