A man who came off his bike has been banned from the roads and fined for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Randy Dial, 47, from Paget, admitted the offence in Magistrates’ Court this morning.
Dial came off his bike while riding west along South Road in Devonshire on June 1.
The court heard that when police approached him, they noticed the smell of alcohol on his breath and saw that his eyes were glazed.
He was fined $1,500 fine and given an 18-month road ban.
