A woman caught driving at almost double the speed limit was banned from the roads for eight months.

Zurita Tucker, 42, admitted speeding at 67km/h when she appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Tucker, from Devonshire, committed the offence near Frog Lane on May 11.

She was fined $370 and had six points added to her licence.

Tucker had 11 existing points before the court appearance and was banned based on points accrued.
