Stovell blasts mammoth century

Southampton Rangers, 279 for four, beat Cleveland County, 73 all out, by 206 runs

Southampton Rangers thrashed Cleveland County in Twenty20 action on Saturday thanks in large part to Dion Stovell who blasted 170 in the win.

The opener carved the Cleveland bowling attack, hitting most of the balls he faced to the boundary off of only 55 balls.

Lavar Talbot was Cleveland’s best bowler, claiming one wicket for 37 runs.

In reply Cleveland were bowled all out for 73, with Kion Butterfield top scoring with 15, while Traddie Simpson led the Rangers bowling attack, taking two wickets for 17 runs.

Devonshire Rec., 79 for five, beat Warwick, 74 all out, by five wickets

Devonshire Rec. made light work of Warwick at home as they beat their First Division opponents by five wickets at Devonshire Rec.

Batting first, Warwick were bowled out for 74, with Rakai Edwards (12) and Quinton King (12) there highest scorers.

Wilbur Burt and Dennis Williams bowled both took two wickets each for the hosts. In reply, Devonshire were led by Ricardo Brangman jr with a knock of 63 as they made their required target with minimum fuss.

Edwards also led the Warwick bowling attack, claiming three wickets for seven runs.
