Forties 114 in 35.1 oversSpring Garden Cavaliers 115-3 in 28.4 oversSpring Garden Cavaliers completed an unprecedented sweep of the Commercial Cricket League’s four main trophies when they crushed defending champions Forties by seven wickets in the season-ending Knockout Cup final at Shelly Bay yesterday.Only skipper Simon Jones (42) and Harold Minors (21) offered any resistance as Forties crumbled to 114 all out after losing their last six wickets for 12 runs, James Pace claiming four for 10 from four overs.Ricky Hill (33) and Jeff DeSilva (36 not out) helped ease Cavaliers home with more than 11 overs to spare after opening bowler Dhammika Weerappuli (two for 19 from seven overs) briefly raised Forties’ hopes.Cavaliers’ KO success came after they beat Forties in the Memorial Cup, retained the league trophy with a match to spare and edged Jamaican Association in the final of the Twenty20 League Cup final.
