Spring Garden Cavaliers 115-3 in 28.4 overs

Only skipper Simon Jones (42) and Harold Minors (21) offered any resistance as Forties crumbled to 114 all out after losing their last six wickets for 12 runs, James Pace claiming four for 10 from four overs.

Ricky Hill (33) and Jeff DeSilva (36 not out) helped ease Cavaliers home with more than 11 overs to spare after opening bowler Dhammika Weerappuli (two for 19 from seven overs) briefly raised Forties’ hopes.

Cavaliers’ KO success came after they beat Forties in the Memorial Cup, retained the league trophy with a match to spare and edged Jamaican Association in the final of the Twenty20 League Cup final.
