Bermuda cruise to victory against Caymans at Americas T20

Bermuda got back to winning ways at the ICC Americas Division 1 T20 Championship in Florida today.The senior national cricket squad beat Cayman Islands by five wickets at Brian Piccolo Park in Fort Lauderdale to chalk up their fourth win of the tournament.Bermuda restricted the Caymans to 118 for six and then reached their target with four balls to spare.Rodney Trott (19) and David Hemp (9) carried Bermuda safely across the line via an unbroken 27-run sixth wicket partnership.Lionel Cann topped the Bermuda batting with 44 from 28 balls that included three sixes and two boundaries.Janeiro Tucker was the pick of the Bermuda bowlers with superb figures of three for 19 off his allotted four over spell.Top order batsman Omar Willis topped the Cayman batting with 28 from 22 balls while medium pacer Kervin Ebanks (two for 28) led the Caribbean team's bowling.Bermuda are due to face tournament hosts USA, who they suffered defeat against earlier this week, at the same venue later today.
