Rawlins scores century for Sussex

Delray Rawlins struck an unbeaten century in Sussex Second XI’s 104-run defeat to Durham Second XI at Blackstone Academy Ground in Woodmancote, West Sussex.

The Bermuda all-rounder’s first-innings knock of 117 included 14 fours and two sixes to help his team to a total of 299 for six declared.

Batting first after winning the toss, Durham scored 403 for seven declared, with Rawlins taking two wickets for 89 runs off 21 overs with his left-arm slow bowling.

The 19-year-old also bowled three overs for 19 runs without a wicket in the second innings, as Durham scored 240 for six declared to give themselves a lead of 344 runs.

Sussex were all out for 240 in their second innings with Rawlins scoring 13 batting at No 4.
