Sabir ensures Warwick survive scare

Lord’s (Bermuda Under-19s won toss): Warwick Workmen’s Club (10pts) beat Bermuda Under-19s by three wicketsWarwick Workmen’s Club secured their second win of the season over Bermuda Under-19s and third overall at Lord’s on Saturday.Lorenzo Tucker’s team restricted the under-19s to 162 for six. Warwick replied with 163 for seven.Wicketkeeper Ajani Lee dominated a match-winning eighth-wicket partnership of 39 with Elijah Lowe-Anderson and stroked the winning runs from a Ori Wilson no-ball to secure Warwick’s win with two balls to spare. Earlier, Logan Jones (29), Jarryd Richardson (39) and Jermel Proctor (48 not out) led an impressive fightback after the under 19s slipped to 27 for two.The under-19s also profited from the generous 24 in extras Warwick conceded that included 16 wides.Captain Staphen Dill, Torleair Caines, Cory Burgess, Jamar Stovel and Dominic Sabir took a wicket apiece for Warwick.
