Bermuda all-rounder Kamau Leverock could not help Florida Scorpions into the final of Unity Cup after his side suffered a 44-run defeat by Kingsmen in the final four of the competition.

Electing to bat, Kingsmen reached a total of 214 for seven from their allotted 20 overs, with Martin Guptill top scoring with a knock of 51. There was also solid contributions from Harmeet Singh (40), Sharjeel Khan (36) and Milind Kumar (33).

Leverock enjoyed far less success with the bat as he was dismissed for a duck, having faced just two balls.

Andre Fletcher (81) managed to stabilise the innings and was supported ably by Sherfane Rutherford (39), but with Gerhard Erasmus (19) the only other batter to reach double figures, Scorpions could muster only a total of 170 for 9 from their 20 overs.
