Thieves steal jewellery, cash from Pembroke home
A Pembroke home was burgled in the early hours of this morning while the home owners were inside.
Police report that around 2.25am they received a report of a burglary at a Mount Langton Crescent home.
The thieves gained entry into the property and demanded a large sum of cash and jewellery before making good their escape.
In a separate incident this morning Police responded to a report of a fight outside a Front Street nightclub.
Officers arrived around 2.53am and spoke with security staff who said that a club patron hit another person in the face.
Both people had disappeared before the officers arrived.
In addition there was a report of a single vehicle collision resulting in injury near Radnor Road in Hamilton Parish last night, around 10.50pm.
A police spokesman said: “It appears that the car was travelling along North Shore Road when the driver, a 37-year-old Hamilton Parish woman, lost control and collided with a wall.
“The driver complained of neck and back injures and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment. The car received extensive front-end damage.”
The Bermuda Police Service is investigating the incidents.
