Police found approximately 40 cannabis plants on a property.A spokesman reported today that the plants were found approximately 20 feet away from the road in an undisclosed area in Smith's.Said a spokesman: "Based on information received, police attended an area in Smith's parish where a large number of cannabis plants were found to be growing. The area of land was concealed by bush and trees approximately 15 to 20 feet from the roadside."Approximately 40 plants were uprooted and confiscated and Inquiries are ongoing."Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 295-0011 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline, 800-8477.
