Woman has ‘large’ amount of cash stolen

A woman had “a large amount of money” stolen as she walked through the City of Hamilton.
The offence took place “sometime on Sunday”, a Police spokesman said.
“The victim states she was approached by a male who made demands of money, he then made good his escape. An investigation into this incident is underway, and police are asking if anyone has any information on this matter please contact Central CIU on 2950011.”
