A Sandys man yesterday denied sexually touching a young girl.
The man cannot be identified for legal reasons.
He pleaded not guilty in Magistrates’ Court to two counts of touching a girl under the age of 16 for a sexual purpose and one count of intruding on the same girl’s privacy.
The offences took place on an unknown date between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2011, at which time the victim was under the age of 13.
He also denied a third charge of kissing the girl, on a date between October 1 and December 31 last year.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released the man on $10,000 bail with a like surety on the condition that he doesn’t interfere with the complainant or any witnesses.
The matter is set to return to court later this month.
