Police are investigating a reported home invasion that occurred at a residence near the Port Royal Gas Station in Southampton in broad daylight.

Sources confirmed police were called to the scene after two men, one possibly armed with what was believed to be a gun, entered the home. A male occupant fled when the two men entered the premises. The suspects left the scene. Police officers spoke with a number of people present and an investigation is now underway.
