Police seek information on recent burglaries

Police have called for the public’s assistance in solving a series of burglaries in the western and central parishes.

According to a spokesman, since October 1 officers have received a number of reports of burglaries, and detectives believe that many of the incidents are linked.

In Pembroke, burglaries have occurred on Gorham Road, Church Street, Church Lane, Pitts Bay Road, the Mill Reach Road/ Pembroke Park Lane area and the, Spanish Point Road / North Cote Road area.

In Warwick, burglaries have been reported in Rockland Crescent, Second Avenue, Sun Valley Road and the Lusher Lane/Pearman’s Hill West/Spice Hill Road area.

In Sandys, burglaries have been reported in the Spring Benny Lane/ George’s Bay Lane area.

Burglaries have also occurred on Harvey Road in Paget and St Anne’s Road in Southampton.

The spokesman said: “Residents with information regarding these burglaries are encouraged to contact their nearest police station.

“In addition, members of the public are encouraged to report any suspicious activity or persons in their neighbourhoods to the main police telephone number 295-0011 at the earliest opportunity.”
