Three women hurt fleeing shooting incident

Police now say that three females were injured in connection with the shooting of a 17-year-old boy in Devonshire on Friday night.

It happened in the North Shore and Glebe roads area at around 11.15pm.

“It is now understood that the teenage male victim was part of a gathering of individuals at a residence in the neighbourhood when the incident took place,” police said in an update provided on Monday.

The three females sustained non-life threatening, non-firearm related injuries trying to escape harm.

Their ages were not provided by police.
