Police catch three breaking curfew

Three people were caught by police after they breached the curfew on Thursday night.

One woman stopped twice was taken into custody and detained at Hamilton Police Station after she was caught for a second time in Flatts at about 10.15pm.

One man was spotted by police on Hamilton’s Front Street at about 10.35pm and another was found inside his car at Fort Scaur in Sandys around 3.10am.

They were both warned they would be issued with a court summons.

The Bermuda Police Service said it is would only accept requests for exemptions for tonight’s 8pm to 6am curfew.

All requests for exceptions to the 24-hour shelter at home order should be e-mailed to the Ministry of National Security at criticalservices@gov.bm.
