Two arrested after fight in Pembroke
Two men were arrested yesterday after a brawl in Pembroke that involved a knife and a baseball bat.
A police spokesman said officers responded to a report of a fight involving four males on Berkeley Hill in Pembroke about 3.30pm.
The spokesman added: “Callers reported one of the males was armed with a knife, while another was carrying a baseball bat.
“Upon arrival, police received information that two of the males involved in the incident left on a motorcycle and two others had gone to a nearby residence.
“Officers attended the residence and arrested the two males who allegedly were armed.”
The spokesman thanked the members of the public who had helped police.
He appealed for any other witnesses – particularly a woman who recorded the incident on a mobile phone – to contact police.
