Noise complaint about Bernard Park party

A party at Bernard Park in Pembroke sparked several noise complaints from area residents early this morning, with organisers cooperating with a police request to turn down the music.

A police spokesman said a noise permit was granted for the event as required.

But he said police would still ensure that music at such events would be kept at an enjoyable level for participants while maintaining peace and quiet for surrounding neighbourhoods – especially during early morning hours.
