Police: drugs on the beach video not shot in Bermuda

Police have shut down suggestions that drugs were found on island beaches after a video was posted on social media.

A police spokeswoman said officers were sure the footage was not shot on the island.

She added: "The Bermuda Police Service is aware of a video being circulated on social media, showing what appears to be a wrapped package, possibly containing an illegal drug, found on a beach at an undisclosed location.

“After reviewing this footage and making enquiries, we are satisfied that this incident did not take place in Bermuda."
