Rider fined for speeding at 93km/h

A 29-year-old Sandys man was fined and given points on his licence for speeding at 93km/h.

Magistrates Court heard that police stopped Zahkie Iris at the Southampton Princess as he was travelling west on his motorcycle on May 16, 2020.

Iris, who pleaded guilty to the offence, was fined $500 and given seven points.

He also pleaded guilty to riding at 60km/h on South Road, Southampton on August 24 last year. For that offence he was fined $300 and given six points.
