Police hunt for man who held knife to woman’s throat

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of holding a knife to a woman’s throat at her residence on Princess Street in Pembroke on Wednesday evening.

The woman was sitting outside her home when, at about 10.45pm, she was grabbed from behind. Police said the individual pushed her into her home but, on seeing another person inside, retreated.

No one was injured in the incident and no items of value were taken, they added.

A spokesman for the Bermuda Police Service said: “The suspect has been described as a light-complexioned male, approximately six feet tall and 19 to 21 years old. He was wearing a grey shirt and black pants with red stripes.

“The BPS is seeking the public’s help in identifying this individual.”
