Man stabbed in Cambridge Road brawl

Police found a man with a stab wound to the back after attending a reported brawl on Cambridge Road in Somerset at 3.40pm yesterday.

A spokesman said “several males” were fighting when officers arrived.

The wounded man, whose injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in a private vehicle.

Cambridge Road was cordoned off as inquiries continue.
