Police appeal for information on 10th anniversary of unsolved murder
A day after the tenth anniversary of the fatal shooting of a Cup Match cricketer, police are appealing for anyone with new information to come forward.
The Bermuda Police Service said the investigation into the murder of 30-year-old Fiqre Crockwell remains active.
Mr Crockwell, a former St George’s player and father, was killed on Woodlands Road after he left a party with friends on June 19, 2016.
The alleged gunman, understood to have been waiting for Mr Crockwell in the area of DeSilva Close, ran from the scene after his bike failed to start.
Police said some of Mr Crockwell’s friends pursued the suspect on Woodlands Road, but lost sight of him near Euclid Avenue.
No one has yet been arrested in connection with the murder.
A police spokesman said: “Detectives are grateful for the assistance received from the public thus far, but firmly believe that there are individuals who hold key information about the circumstances surrounding Mr Crockwell’s death and are yet to make contact with us.”
