Narraway clear winner at Dockyard

Nicholas Narraway laid down a marker by storming to an impressive victory in the open class of the second race of the Fat Tire Massive mountain bike season.

Sixty-seven competitors raced in the event held at the National Museum of Bermuda in Dockyard and also ran through the old Casemates Prison.

With wet and strong windy conditions easing by race time, Narraway blew away the competition, leading from start to finish.

Alan Potts, the class winner at the previous race at the Arboretum, put in a determined ride, but had to settle for second with Alexander Miller third.

In the female open, Ashley Robinson was uncontested.

The next race will take place at Lagoon Park on December 9.
