Time-trial set for North Shore
The shortened domestic cycling season continues on Sunday with the Bermuda Junior Cycling Time-Trial along North Shore Road.
The event is for teams of three, with the finishing time taken from the final finisher of each team, meaning the entire team must finish.
Starting on North Shore Road east of Black Watch Pass, at 7am, the course, which is 13.4 miles for the adult categories and 2.46 miles for the youth category, will head east to the roundabout at Swizzle Inn before returning by the same route.
Categories include Male, Female, Junior (ages 15 to 18) and Youth (ages 14 and under) with cash prizes among the first three categories.
Meanwhile, registration remains open for the Time-Trial and Road Race National Championships on August 16 and 23 respectively.
