Rider injured in collision with unmarked police vehicle

A bike rider was thought to have suffered minor injuries in a collision with an unmarked police vehicle in Devonshire this morning, the Bermuda Police Service said in a Facebook post.

The advisory said that officers were sent to the incident, which happened on Happy Valley Road, near the junction with Montpelier Road, at about 8.20am.

It added: “Initial information suggests that the male rider has received minor injuries.”

Traffic was diverted at the nearby junction, as well as at the junction of Happy Valley Road and Shelton Road, while the scene was processed.
