Ad agency

Friday’s editorial on tourism was wrong in one serious respect. Although very little had been said previously about the Ministry of Tourism hiring an advertising agency, on Friday, there was an advertisement for just that.

So that’s good news. It is not entirely clear if this agency will be from overseas or if it will be local. Nor is it clear from the ad if it will only be responsible for branding, or if it will be a full service provider.

It is to be hoped that it will be a full service provider, and with the greatest respect to the local advertising agency, Bermuda needs a full service, national agency that can provide the marketing punch Bermuda needs.
