Bermuda College has launched a “Fast Track” Programme for 18 to 24 year olds, Education Minister Dame Jennifer Smith told the House of Assembly on Friday.And the first of a series of Information Boutiques to entice young people into the “fast track” programme was held last week.“They focused on careers as Legal Executives, Office Technicians, Accounting Assistants and Hairdressing,” Dame Jennifer said.“All of the Boutiques are focused on careers that require Bermudians (based on the latest labour statistics) and with training that can be completed in one year or less. Each boutique features presentations by industry professionals who outline career pathway options.”The Minister said that the programme was developed specifically for the 18 - 24 year old demographic.
