The Learning Disabilities Association of Bermuda has launched its Middle School Teacher of the Year contest.

It is inviting middle school students to nominate their favourite teacher by expressing that teacher’s unique qualities through writing, audio, or video formats, such as an essay, poem, song, power point presentation, or skit.

The student who nominates the winning teacher will receive an Apple iPad, while the teacher will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the Learning Disabilities Association of America’s 2015 Annual International Conference in Chicago next February.

The deadline for entries is May 7, 2014. Nominations should be submitted to Cathy Sousa, at csousa@ldab.org, or by mail to LDAB, PO Box HM 350 Hamilton, HM JX.
