CedarBridge celebrates National School Salute
Students from CedarBridge Academy were on the City Hall steps as they celebrated their National School Salute yesterday.
The school, which is marking its 20th anniversary this year, was featured in a special supplement as part of our two-week School Salute coverage yesterday.
Principal Kalmar Richards said in the magazine: “Where are we after almost 20 years? Our students now have access to several pathways to success and certifications and we personalise programmes to meet individual needs, interests and aspirations.
“What has been tremendously gratifying and which continues to fuel my passion for education is to see our current students excelling and to see our graduates making notable contributions through careers within the local and global workforce.
“We are achieving our mission of ‘cultivating Bermuda's achievers!'”
Throughout this week and next week, our School Salute coverage is telling the tale of the history of Bermuda's schools, thanks to a collective effort which has involved all 44 schools and learning institutions on the island.
The Royal Gazette has powered www.schoolsalute.bm which offers daily school updates and is carrying the school supplements
