John Rankin, the Governor, has paid a visit to students at the Bermuda Centre for Creative Learning.

Pupils gave a presentation to the Governor about the school, which was created for children with learning difficulties aged 7 and above.

The presentation included pupils’ experiences of learning at BCCL. Mr Rankin also joined in a lesson about baking a cake, based on the book Thunder Cake.

The Governor explored the school and saw the teaching methods used to help the pupils.

He enjoyed his own back-to-school moment in maths when he learnt how to calculate the volume of a cylinder.

He also took part in a reading session with noise-cancelling headphones.
