More schools reopen for in-person teaching

Pupils from three more schools went back to their classrooms today as remote learning is gradually phased out.

Victor Scott Primary, Prospect Primary and Purvis Primary, opened for the first time since last month.

Yesterday Gilbert Institute, Port Royal Primary, and West Pembroke Primary, also opened.

The schools were able to open after at least 80 per cent of pupils crossed the Covid-19 screening threshold to return to in-person teaching.

More schools are expected to open this week once pupils have undergone saliva screening.
